Well, it’s almost that time again – Spring sprang a while ago, schools out, and AC is in (Air Conditioning AND Atlantic City!) Summer is going to be here before we know it!
So what better time to check in with how long the days are getting? Pretty soon we’ll start slip-sliding toward autumn.

The Slip 'N Slide from Wham-O! "Be a kid again by body slamming a thin piece of plastic - The ground's just as hard as you remember!"
The Van is parked in scenic East Orange, NJ (Not known for their oranges, oddly enough) where the sun comes up at a spritely 5:25am and doesn’t set until just after 8:30pm. We’re wearing sunglasses to bed.
But we know it’s all relative. Our Van-Fans in Miami, FL are seeing the sun get up a full hour later at 6:29am. And she’s already hanging it up for the day at 8:15pm.
Not everbody’s got it that good though. In Insomnia-ville, Alaska, the sun comes up at 3:51am today and doesn’t go down until after 10pm. Twilight and Dawn kinda fuzz into each other, so night’s really more of a state of mind. But the good news is they get to look forward to total darkness in a few months! It’s really a win-win.
So how is June treating you? Are these stretched-out days just what you’ve been longing for? Or do you wish the sun would take a morning off once in a while and let you sleep in?
